We can’t deny that it’s the best feeling in the world to automate the boring stuff. For example, look at your calendar and think about how your life would be if you didn’t get a reminder for all those events and to-do lists.

It would be time-consuming, and to some extent, it would derail you from setting up and growing your business. Now, with an app such as Zapier, you can automate the boring stuff and the repetitive things that steal time from your business. 

Here are four of the most important ways you can use this application to be more efficient.

Create a Google Sheet of Event Attendees

Normally, when you hold an event, you take details of attendees manually. Then after the event, you organize the contacts into lists that you can use for promotion later. But with Zapier, you don’t have to do the work twice. 

You can set up a Zap that automatically adds names and contacts of attendees to a Google Sheet. The automation saves you from hiring someone to do it manually after the event, and it also saves you time.

Send Auto Replies Via Slack

Auto replies are the best especially when you’re going on a vacation. Instead of leaving notifications with mentions of your name lying on Slack, you can set up an auto-reply to let your co-workers know that you’re out.

Therefore, they won’t feel ignored and if they needed something urgently, they’ll find an alternative solution.

Add Leads to Your Newsletter List

If you have an opt-in form on your website, you can set up a Zap that automatically adds subscribers to your newsletter list. The important thing here is to ensure that you add only people who have opted-in to avoid spamming people who are not interested.

Share Instagram Photos to Twitter

If you’ve been spending hours sharing your Instagram posts to Twitter manually, that is no longer necessary with Zapier. You can automate post sharing between Instagram and Twitter and save yourself time. The benefit is that you can set up Zaps to automate posts to other social media channels such as Facebook.
